Photographer from Ukraine Alena Grom has been documenting the war since 2014 – first in the Donbass, now in Bucha. Usually she not only takes pictures — she has long conversations with local residents. Grom says she has made an important discovery: women in conflict do more than mourn and mourn the dead.
