Sonya Michel Collaborates on Exhibition of Ukrainian Women Artists

Women at War is an exhibition featuring the works of 12 Ukrainian women artists who crafted their works in Ukraine. This exhibition provides proof that although Vladimir Putin has tired to eradicate Ukraine and its culture since February 2022, he has failed.This exhibition is curated by Monika Fabijanska and was first shown at the Fridman Gallery in New York. Department of History faculty member Sonya Michel helped bring the exhibition to the Stanford in Washington Gallery where it remains on view until March 22, 2023. >>>
